- 음성 파일은 텍스트 변환에 이용되며, 변환 후에도 이용자가 원본을 다시 들을 수 있도록 국내 서버에 보관됩니다.

서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

수집한 개인정보는 다음 목적으로만 이용합니다.
- 가족 간 이야기 기록 및 공유 서비스 제공
- 이용자 식별 및 프로필 표시
- 음성을 텍스트로 변환하여 이야기 기록 생성
- 서비스 운영, 품질 개선 및 오류 확인
- 서비스 출시 알림 및 관련 안내 이메일 발송(웹사이트에서 신청한 이용자에 한함)
제3조 개인정보의 보유 및 이용 기간
서비스는 개인정보를 서비스 이용 기간 동안 보유합니다.
- 음성 파일: 이용자의 삭제 요청 또는 서비스 탈퇴 시 삭제
- 프로필 정보 및 이야기 기록: 이용자의 삭제 요청 또는 서비스 탈퇴 시 삭제
- 출시 알림 신청 이메일: 수신 거부 요청 시 또는 서비스 종료 시까지
단, 관련 법령에 따라 보존이 필요한 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관할 수 있습니다.
제4조 개인정보 처리 위탁

서비스는 위 목적 외에 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 단, 이용자의 동의가 있거나 관련 법령에 따른 경우는 예외로 합니다.
제4조의2 개인정보 국외 이전
서비스는 개인정보 보호법 제28조의8 제1항 제3호에 근거하여 계약의 이행 및 본 방침의 공개를 통해 아래와 같이 개인정보를 국외로 이전합니다.

OpenAI 및 Anthropic은 이전받은 정보를 인공지능 모델 학습에 이용하지 않으며, 오남용 방지 목적의 모니터링을 위해 한시적으로 보관한 후 파기합니다.

음성 원본 파일은 국내(서울) 리전 서버에 보관됩니다. 다만 음성을 텍스트로 변환하기 위해 음성 사본이 국외(OpenAI)로 전송되며, 저장을 위탁받는 Google LLC가 해외 법인이므로 해당 저장·처리도 국외 이전으로 함께 고지합니다.
동의 절차: 이용자는 음성 기록을 시작하기 전 앱 내 동의 화면(국외이전 동의 안내)을 통해 국외 이전에 동의하거나 거부할 수 있으며, 거부 시 음성을 글로 옮기는 기능(음성 녹음 및 텍스트 변환) 이용이 제한됩니다.
거부 방법 및 절차: 본 서비스는 음성을 텍스트로 변환하는 것이 서비스의 핵심 기능이므로, 국외 이전을 거부하시는 경우 서비스의 이용이 사실상 제한됩니다. 국외 이전을 거부하고자 하시는 경우 서비스 이용을 중단하시거나, 이메일(contact@namuga.app)로 계정 삭제를 요청해 주시기 바랍니다. 요청은 접수일로부터 10일 이내에 처리됩니다.
제5조 이용자의 권리
이용자는 언제든지 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
- 개인정보 열람 요청
- 개인정보 수정 또는 정정 요청
- 개인정보 삭제 요청
- 개인정보 처리 정지 요청
권리 행사는 아래 개인정보 보호책임자에게 연락하여 요청할 수 있습니다.
제6조 개인정보의 파기
개인정보가 수집 및 이용 목적을 달성하거나 이용자의 삭제 요청이 있는 경우 지체 없이 파기합니다.
전자적 파일 형태의 개인정보는 복구가 불가능한 방법으로 삭제합니다.
개별 이야기 또는 계정 전체의 삭제는 제8조에 안내된 이메일(contact@namuga.app)로 요청하실 수 있습니다. 삭제 시 해당 이야기의 음성 파일과 텍스트는 함께 파기되며, 접수일로부터 10일 이내에 처리하고 결과를 회신합니다.
제7조 만 14세 미만 아동
서비스는 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

제9조 개인정보처리방침의 변경
본 방침은 법령 또는 서비스 내용의 변경에 따라 수정될 수 있습니다.

tree-to-branch ("the Service") values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and the rights available to users.

- Voice recordings voluntarily submitted by users
- Voice recordings are used for text conversion and are retained on servers located in the Republic of Korea so that users can play back the original recordings.
User Content
- Text responses submitted by users
- Original text generated through speech-to-text processing (STT results)
- AI-refined story content
- Empathy ("Flower") counts

The Service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14.
Article 2. Purpose of Collection and Use
Collected information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Providing family story recording and sharing services
- Identifying users and displaying profiles
- Converting voice recordings into text-based stories
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the Service
- Sending launch announcements and related notices to users who subscribed on the website
Article 3. Retention Period
Personal information is retained for the duration of a user's use of the Service.
- Voice recordings: Deleted upon user request or account withdrawal
- Profile information and story records: Deleted upon user request or account withdrawal
- Launch notification signup email: Until unsubscribe request or service termination
However, information may be retained for a longer period if required by applicable laws and regulations.
Article 4. Data Processing and Service Providers
To provide the Service, certain data processing activities may be entrusted to the following service providers:

The Service does not disclose personal information to third parties except as described above, with user consent, or when required by law.

Pursuant to Article 28-8, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Personal Information Protection Act (transfer necessary for contract performance and disclosed in this Privacy Policy), the Service transfers personal information outside the Republic of Korea as follows.

OpenAI and Anthropic do not use the transferred information to train AI models and retain it only temporarily for abuse-prevention monitoring before deletion.

Original voice files are stored on servers located in the Republic of Korea (Seoul region). However, copies of the recordings are transmitted abroad (to OpenAI) for voice-to-text conversion, and because Google LLC—the entrusted storage provider—is a foreign corporation, such storage and processing are also disclosed here as cross-border transfers.
Consent Process: Before starting a voice recording, users may consent to or refuse the cross-border transfer via an in-app consent screen. If refused, the voice-to-text feature (voice recording and text conversion) will not be available.
How to Object: Because voice-to-text conversion is a core feature of the Service, refusing cross-border transfer effectively prevents you from using the Service. If you wish to refuse cross-border transfer, please discontinue use of the Service or request account deletion by emailing contact@namuga.app. Requests are processed within ten (10) days of receipt.
Article 5. User Rights
Users may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Request access to personal information
- Request correction or modification of personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request suspension of personal information processing
Requests may be submitted to the Privacy Officer listed below.
Article 6. Deletion of Personal Information
Personal information is deleted without undue delay when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or when a user requests deletion.
Electronic records are deleted using methods designed to prevent recovery or restoration.
Users may request deletion of individual stories or their entire account by contacting the email address listed in Article 8 (contact@namuga.app). When a story is deleted, the associated voice recording and text are deleted together. Requests are processed within ten (10) days of receipt, and the outcome is communicated to the user.
Article 7. Children Under 14
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
